Overview

Be prepared. The Boy Scout motto is the best guide for network design.

If you depend on computers to keep your business running then Wisdom Consulting Group can help. Many of our clients were first introduced to Wisdom when they experienced a network emergency. We handle network emergencies very well.

Emergencies necessitate heroics, but network heroics are bad for your business. Why not prevent problems before they occur? Our major strength lies in our proactive approach to network design and problem solving. Wisdom strives to minimize downtime before it happens. Here are some of the tactics we employ:

  • Redundant Design. All systems will eventually fail. The key is to design the system so that failure does not adversely affect the business. Our network designs include redundancy where possible, subject to budget guidelines set by the client.
  • Automated Monitoring. With the proper tools in place, your network may call or email Wisdom before any human realizes a problem has occurred. Automated monitoring reduces the chance of human error.
  • Periodic Security Updates. Networks have two types of weakness: Those that have been found, and those that are currently hidden. The major software vendors release patches and updates for their products at a blistering rate. We monitor these updates, and we apply the ones that best fit you network.
  • Automated Anti-Malware Strategies. Viruses and other malicious software (malware) are a fact of life in the digital age. Anybody can (and should) use the standard antivirus software packages. Wisdom improves defenses by blocking unauthorized access to tender parts of a network that malware loves to exploit.
  • Remote Maintenance. We manually monitor our clients’ networks on a regular basis. We find and eradicate trouble before it occurs.
  • Rapid Response. Unpredictable things will happen. When the unexpected happens, Wisdom responds to emergencies in a rapid and professional fashion.
