Cathedral Shelter of Chicago
Background
Since 1915, Cathedral Shelter of Chicago has provided critical social services to area residents. CSC changes lives through job training, addiction recovery, and skills development. CSC also provides gifts to three thousand families in need every Christmas. Each family is matched to a donor based on the resources pledged by the donor.
Challenge
To automate the giving process with tools running on the web and the iPhone.
To prevent dependency relationships from forming by designing the software with sound business rules.
Solution
WisdomGroup built a web–based application that allows the staff to manage the giving process via the web. The iPhone interface is currently under development.

Donations are collected online. Gift-giving is managed with business rules enforced by the software.
