T-Mobile G1 vs. Apple iPhone
The T-Mobile G1 will be the first phone based on Google’s Android platform. Scheduled for release on October 22, 2008, the device features a touch screen and a mechanical QWERTY keyboard. Competition for the iPhone?
Web Experience
The iPhone features the best web experience of any handheld device. Since the G1 hasn’t yet been released, it’s difficult to tell whether it will offer a strong alternative. The marketing materials look good. But of course, marketing materials always look good.
Conclusion
The new Google offering will be worth looking at, especially if cut & paste works as well as it does in the video.
