Solar is Happening Now

Computers use electricity. Deja vu?

So… anyone who uses computers has to be concerned about sustainable sources of electricity. Solis Energy is part of the sourcing solution. Their Solar Power Plant power generators are ideal for sites where it’s inconvenient or expensive to install traditional power. Even better: The power they supply is “free”, after you consider the capital expense of installing the SPP device.

Teams of engineers are working to improve solar technology every day. Some are pursuing silicon-based solutions. Some teams are testing other materials, like diamond. What will computers look like when power is free and environmental impact is minimized?
