Android in Four Minutes
This four-minute video from the Wall Street Journal describes Google’s mobile phone strategy and how it may affect you.
Mobile Phone Gold Rush
You’ve already seen the gold rush comparisons. In 1848, some people ran out to California to dig for gold. Others ran out to California to sell supplies (picks, shovels, blue jeans) to the gold miners. Nordstrom and Levi Strauss became very wealthy by selling supplies to the gold-diggers.
When it comes to phones, Google’s business is selling supplies. Phones based on Google’s Android platform should hit the stores in the 2nd half of 2008.
