At age 23 Barrington Irving became the youngest pilot ever to fly solo around the world. Irving noticed that while aerospace technology advances at a rapid pace, our work force lags behind. He launched Experience Aviation to address the problem.
A Challenge for Youth
Irving issued a challenge to the teenagers in the Experience Aviation program: If they could build an airplane, he would fly it. They did, and he did.
