ChicagoRuby.org is a group of Ruby on Rails enthusiasts. Our ongoing objective with ChicagoRuby.org is to create a place where smart people can challenge each other to grow. WisdomGroup assumed leadership of ChicagoRuby.org in August of 2007. Within one year we tripled the membership and we created the group’s annual conference, WindyCityRails.
WindyCityRails is an annual gathering for all who are passionate about Ruby on Rails. The conference attracts people from many facets of the software industry: developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and investors. WisdomGroup created WindyCityRails, launching the first edition in September 2008. Tickets sold out three weeks in advance, and over $2,000 in profits were donated to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
